Kids' Guernica in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

August 26-28, 2015

The second part of Kids' Guernica exhibition was successfully held at Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima, Japan. 1,100 children participated in creating 20 new peace paintings and 8,000 people visited the riverside venue. More people saw these paintings from the other side of the river while they visited the Atomic Bomb Dome.

Many foreign tourists visited the venue of this exhibition.

 A peace mural from Northern Ireland was also exhibited.

Savina Tarsitano did a collaborative workshop of "Kids' Guernica" and 

Michelangelo Pistollete's "Third Paradise" project at the river side.

"Kids' Guernica" & "Third Paradise" Workshop at Kouganji Kindergarten in Tokyo

A collaborative workshop with "Kids' Guernica" and Michelangelo Pistollete's "Third Paradise" was held by an Italian artist, Savina Tarsitano at Kouganji Kindergarten in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. She brought the canvas after doing the same workshop with children in Indonesia and Cambodia.

20th Anniversary Kids' Guernica Exhibition in Bali

20th Anniversary Exhibition was held at Puri Lukisan Museum in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. 

A new Kids' Guernica peace painting was also created by elementary school children in Ubud.

Savina Tarsitano showed a collaboration of "Kids' Guernica" and Michelangelo Pistollete's "Third Paradise" project.

 at Museum Puri Lukisan in Bali.

Kids' Guernica in Nagasaki for 70th Anniversary of Atomic Bombing

August 06-12, 2015 Kids' Guernica exhibition was held in Nagasaki for 70th Anniversary of Atomic Bombing. Nagasaki children created a 70 m long huge peace mural for this exhibition.

                     Peace murals from India, Iran, Korea and Hawaii were also exhibited.

July 24-27, 2015  Kids' Guernica paintings were displayed at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.

The exhibition of "Art for Peace" by artists who were involved with Kids' Guernica project was also held at Tengu Square Gallery near the Peace Park in Hiroshima.

Kids' Guernica at Earth Caravan Peace Event in Tokyo

July 19, 2015  Some Kids' Guernica peace paintings from India, Northern Ireland, and Italy were displayed at Zojoji Buddhist Temple in Tokyo during the peace event of Earth Caravan.
Children who visited the venue particiapated in a collaborative workshop of "Kids' Guernica" and an Italian artist's Michelangelo Pistollete's "Third Paradise" project.
