A Unique Kids' Guernica in Poland

October 30, 2015
A unique Kids' Guernica was created in Rybnik, Poland. This project was started in 2012. About 70 young artists in age 5 -19 participated in it. They all are students of Art Studio CREATIO – MDK.
The image is made on big paper and in graphic ( linocut) technique. Each participant thought and said what word, “peace”: means for him/her and what inspiration gives him/her for art. Next, they designed their art, next made it, printed it, and connected together on one big piece of paper on the wall. During the final presentation of our Kid’s Guernica in our city, we invited parents, families, teachers, friends and children talked about their work and thoughts.
