October 28, 2019 The workshop "Healthy food and sustainable agriculture" was held on October 17 and 18, in collaboration between the Rebirth Embassy / Third Paradise Cuba, Kids' Guernica and FAO Cuba. The workshop took place in Casa del Niño y la Niña, in the municipality of Centro Habana, a place that hosts a workshop like this for the second time. On this occasion, approximately 50 children participated in the collective creation of a canvas that took as a reference the symbol of the Third Paradise, created by the italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto, to discuss necessary topics as peace, food and nutritional security, food sovereignty, the importance of a healthy diet and the need to practice sustainable agriculture. Through various group dynamics, which proposed sensory, playful and creative exercises, in addition to the collective planting of a tree, the children were able to learn about these topics without neglecting artistic creation. "Our actions are our future" is one of the phrases that can be read on this giant canvas, because the work was also an action to celebrate the World Food Day, in collaboration with FAO Cuba. The canvas was exhibited on October 19, at the Festival of the Earth, an event that arose precisely as one of the agreements of a Forum celebrated by the Embassy Rebirth / Third Paradise Cuba in May 2018. The message of peace, unity, balance and harmony was clearly enunciated in this artwork of Kids' Guernica, and we wish it to be extended to the entire world.

Selected students from different Ecolint schools worked together to create a wonderful peace painting on a big canvas based on their reflection on the 17 Sustainability Goals of the 2030 UN Agenda. The students beautifully expressed their social messages in an artistic way. The completed painting was exhibited with other Kids’ Guernica and Third Paradise paintings from Cuba and Japan in an exhibition on the theme: Social Impact is an Art at the Ecolint Centre des Arts.
