The 8th grade students of Spanish, and 7th & 8th
grade English Language Learners, completed a Peace Quilt, titled “Stitching
Together Peace" at Clark Pleasant Middle School in
Greenwood, Indiana, the United States.

A Kids' Guernica exhibition was successfully held in Nagasaki. Not only Kids' Guernica paintings by Japanese children but those from Palestine and Italy were also exhibited. A line of the colorful paintings were displayed along the riverside near the hypocenter of the atomic bomb blast on August 9, 1945 and it became a very strong message of peace from Nagasaki, an iconic city of world peace.

Many Kids' Guernica paintings were displayed at Peace Art Project in Hiroshima during the week of the peace memorial day. This event included music and performances as well as other art project for peace such as Okiagari Koboshi project and the Big Painting project.

Another collaboration with "Third Paradise" and Kids' Guernica was held with 200 children in Cuneo, Italy. An image of seagul created by Yokohama children was also painted as a part of a new Kids' Guernica painting in Cuneo.

A workshop of Kids' Guernica and Michelangelo Pistoletto's "Third Paradise" was held at Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art in Torino, Italy.
June 23-24, 2017 A wonderful collaboration with Michelangelo Pistoletto's "Third Paradise" and Kids' Guernica was held in Cittadellarte, Biella, Italy. The both art projects have a common goal for a peaceful better world.
